1. Information We Collect

When you use UniversalForge, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and the files you upload for conversion. We also collect usage data such as conversion metrics, page views, and feature interactions to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the conversion service, process payments through Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave, send transactional emails via Resend, and communicate service updates. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. File Processing & Storage

Uploaded files are processed in ephemeral, isolated containers. Source files and converted outputs are encrypted at rest and in transit. Files are retained for 30 days after conversion, then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave for payment processing; Resend for email delivery; Supabase for database and authentication; and Upstash (Redis) for caching and rate limiting. Each service has its own privacy policy governing data handling.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Conversion files are retained for 30 days. Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax compliance. You can request data export at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your data or request account deletion from your account settings. For GDPR or CCPA requests, contact us at privacy@authonex.tech.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure, ephemeral processing containers, and regular security audits.
